Undergraduate (UG) Courses
Eligibility
- Candidates should have passed their Higher Secondary Examination (+2) or its equivalent, as recognized by the Tamil Nadu government or other approved boards.
- Admission is based on merit and as per the guidelines issued by Periyar University and the Tamil Nadu government.
- Certain UG courses may require students to have studied specific subjects at the +2 level (e.g., Mathematics, Biology, or Commerce).
Documents Required
- Original and photocopies of 10th and 12th marksheets.
- Transfer Certificate (TC) from the last institution attended.
- Conduct Certificate.
- Community Certificate (for reservation category students).
- Aadhar Card or valid government-issued ID proof.
- Passport-size photographs (as specified by the college).
- Eligibility certificate from Periyar University (for candidates from other boards or states).
Postgraduate (PG) Courses
Eligibility
- A Bachelor’s degree in the relevant discipline from a recognized university, with the required minimum percentage as prescribed by Periyar University.
- For some programs, specific subject requirements or entrance tests may apply.
Documents Required
- Original and photocopies of UG marksheets and degree certificate.
- Transfer Certificate (TC) from the previous college/university.
- Conduct Certificate.
- Community Certificate (for reservation category students).
- Aadhar Card or valid government-issued ID proof.
- Passport-size photographs (as specified by the college).
- Eligibility certificate from Periyar University (for candidates from other universities or states).
Research Programs (M.Phil. & Ph.D.)
Eligibility
- M.Phil.: A Master’s degree in the relevant field with the required minimum percentage as prescribed by Periyar University.
- Ph.D.: A Master’s or M.Phil. degree in the relevant discipline, meeting the eligibility criteria set by Periyar University and UGC regulations.
- Candidates may also need to qualify an entrance examination conducted by the university or college.
Documents Required
- Original and photocopies of PG and M.Phil. marksheets and degree certificates (as applicable).
- Research proposal or Statement of Purpose (SOP) in the chosen field.
- Transfer Certificate (TC) and Conduct Certificate.
- Community Certificate (for reservation category candidates).
- Aadhar Card or valid government-issued ID proof.
- Passport-size photographs (as specified by the college).
- Eligibility certificate from Periyar University (for candidates from other universities or states).
- Any relevant research publications or work experience certificates.
Admission Process
- Submit the filled-in application form along with the required documents and application fee.
- Attend a personal interview or counseling session if required.
- Based on eligibility and merit, receive a provisional admission letter.
- Pay the initial tuition fees within the stipulated timeframe to confirm admission.
- Complete the verification of original documents at the admission office.
